Nice collection, but don't let the empty fields in your box mislead you to more purchases ;)

A little German google search brought some insights to your grandpa's watch, don't think that in Danish or English it would work that easy. I only found German websites and forums that write about this.

Mars was produced by the German watch maker Uhrenfabrik Adolf Gengenbach in Pforzheim (south Germany) which is today Jean Marcel. However Jean Marcel is producing nowadays in Switzerland.

It's a lovely watch, I have by my self also an old gold watch from grandpa and enjoy it.

Nice watches but what stands out the most, to me, are 2 (maybe 4 if it's 10 slot box) empty slots..

Still work to be done.

Hello Pascal,
Wow thank you :) I have not been able to find anything - I guess I was googling in the wrong language. I will definitely be looking into that.
Yes having a item worn by ones grandfather is a fantastic way to bridge the gap of time. I fell a sense of belonging when wearing that watch.

and yes... haha "unfortunately" I have room for four more watches... :)

Thank you and Yes! haha. 4 more slots... I bought a 10 slots box and I have promised myself that I will only have maximum 10 watches at a time. I am at the moment trying to figure out the next one... ;)

Thanks. Thats how I justify spending more money on watches, I need one for every occasion 😆 Although I am missing a beater.

Love your collection, dying to get an explorer myself but like your choice of grand Seiko as well!

·

Props for keeping a quartz Seiko from the ‘80s in the same row as a Tudor (which, by the way, is bitchin’) and a Rolex. 🤙
