Those hands need to be orange or something. Legibility on the lower half looks like it will be lacking. Dial texture detracts from theme, but looks more premium and may help this contrast issue.
$449, or $369, is much better, not that I'm going to spring for it even at either price. The Mido has a big date, though the Chinese day of the week is cool.

Someone posted in WC about the Seagull a few months ago. Anyhow, I like them both.

Mido do limited editions with multi coloured dials better than anyone else in the market sector, their Star Decompression series was a good looking watch too.
Lots of comments concerned about legibility but I'm not sure legibility is what Mido were going for here - this isn't going to be an only watch I'd reckon, more an occasional wear piece for folks looking for something courful and less serious.

Somehow that works.
Nice, but I would not buy it since I already have the same picture on my TV at home... but I do have the "normal" one..

Very cool, I like it 👍🏻👍🏻
Love it
Interesting but too busy for me
Cool 👍
Oh yes, I'm very into that!
Cool watch, but not something I’d buy.
Kind of a neat concept to match its retro design. Good idea they went more recent instead of way back retro on the test pattern
I dig it but not sure if I'll buy it
Bit too Invicta for me, but interesting ✌️
Like the concept but it is a bit busy on the eyes and legibility may be an issue.
Really nice, but! Seagull came withe idea first
They should post this on 1 April.
I love this thing… set with bracelet and two straps, plus top grade version of the Powermatic. Good deal at $1450
🤣🤣🤣 How many kids these days would get the reference? And what a way to punk Patek. But too rich for my blood for a novelty or a joke.
Mostly positive reviews. That's interesting!

How odd. It appears the Sea-Gull version is also brand new, so who's copying whom here? Also odd, it's listed for two prices on two Sea-Gull websites:

Looks nice, but hard to read.

A conversation starter for sure
I like it a lot, but legibility is the main concern that I have.
These look great imo.

It'll sell like hot-cakes me thinks.
Quartz right ? 😑

Hahaha, nope
The OG is an awesome piece of kit. If both launched together I'd still be going for the OG
#mido commitment to inclusivity and diversity is reflected in their diverse range of watch designs for all tastes and preferences

It’s a great one indeed! Had this #mido for long under observation. But as soon they launched the tv test card dial, I pulled the trigger.
