Exactly the same for me. Never considered Mido before I got mine when it was first released. Absolutely love it (and as much as my more expensive watches). I got the blue and added the orange strap.
I've heard that the finishing on the Big Date is way above the price point - how have you found it?

I have been wondering about this watch for a long time. The only thing that stops me from buying it is whether it’s going to be too big for my tiny wrist.
It wears supremely well. The lug to lug is very reasonable. Try it for sure if you can.
That date position is quickly becoming my favourite place for it to be.

You nailed it. I was lucky to see this on holiday. I'm in Dubai looking at many other $$$$$$ watches from blancpain, iwc types but this is popping like nothing else! It really speaks to something inside. The shades and design are wonderfully playful. Its so not serious but a looker at the same time.
Curious if anyone has this piece in the bracelet. If so, how’s the fit? On the fly micro adjust?

It's a bit of a Patek clone but I love it. Very cool watch ⌚️ 😎
It's the other way round. This is a 73 release. The Nautilus is a 76, the aquanaut is a 96. You might be right with this one borrowing styling cues from the aquanaut but it's different enough with a very fascinating backstory/history to not be a clone. If you see it as one, steer away. I didn't. And i love it!

If you don't mind, can you please take another photo of it in day light on top of a pure white paper? Then I can white-balance it to see the real tone 🙃
