Just came back from Japan. They don’t have a lot of shunbuns available it seems. Had to visit 5 different boutiques to find this one. Ultimately found it in a small boutique in YOKOHAMA S of Tokyo but ONLY A 30 minute train ride. hat being said it’s an amazing watch. Make sure you ask for the tax free discount :)!
Had a slightly similar issue with a Christopher Ward five Link bracelet. One of the links wasn’t seemingly sitting properly within the hole. Had to mess around with it for sometime to get the right fit. I agree with many other posters in this discussion: if a brand new watch isn’t perfect send it back. Having a jeweler fix a brand new watch is an unacceptable outcome.
Watches are all about the story that travels with them. Their origin, their destinations, and the way they are worn. Every watch, like every person that wears one, has a story to tell. Sounds like this one’s tale is off to a great start. How does that song go…ah I got it…”the rest is still unwritten.”
I picked one up a few months back. Honestly I’m in love with tudors steel and gold lines. Their chronograph is top notch. I’ve been enjoying the hell out of mine. Great purchase. Hope you love it.
