My first watch was an early 1970s Timex sport watch something similar to this.
The first watch I remember having was a Transformer watch from the mid 80s. I'm pretty sure it was this exact one. It was one of my favorite objects I owned at the time.

The original strap was a rubber one, which is long gone. I'm thinking of upgrading the strap. Do you think a yellow leather strap will look good?

I think it could depending on the shade of yellow. It will definitely be a statement piece and fun one. I'd say give it a try. White is also an option if you like that as well.

Right. I have just placed an order for the yellow, I would try out white also if I get one.
