Does a 126610LN & 126000 make sense to you as a two watch collection?

Well, if you can call two watches a collection, but you get my point.

Absolutely love both watches. The idea is basically that the Sub date would be the somewhat less formal watch, while the OP36 would be the somewhat more formal watch (won’t be doing any ”designated dress watches”, not my thing).

Does it make sense to you to have a two watch collection where both watches are Rolex? Both watches with an Oyster bracelet? Both watches stainless steel? Would changing the OP36 to a jubilee bracelet make a difference to you? What do you think?

Sure it makes sense. Why not? They are very different watches aesthetically and stylistically. Changing bracelets wouldn't be a bad thing. They can even overlap in terms of being versatile. I've owned both but traded the OP for a DJ. Nothing wrong with two Rolex as a collection. Do you.

I don't like the sub, but I get it, and it's an icon. But there are many better watches than the OP for the money, and you'd already have a Rolex in your collection, so I'd look elsewhere for the 'more formal' option.

Bronze BB 58 and BB 39 champagne dial; perfect duo.

Personally I think that I’d rather have 2 different brands in a 2 watch collection, however if those are the watches you like, go for it!

"Two watch collection"... These words burn my eyes.🙃

But hey, whatever blows your skirt up. Enjoy.⌚

It makes sense but I wouldn’t do it. Way too boring and I don’t like these two Rolex models myself. But if this is what you like, go for it.

My most worn watches are my Seamaster 300 heritage and my Aqua Terra. I could go with just those two.

Not a Rolex fan myself, but yes absolutely you could go with just those two & be happy. 😉👍🏻

I’m a yes but.. Sure it makes sense to a degree but I would add a dress watch from Longines, Cartier, JLC, etc. to finish off the collection.

it works, but id personally pair it with a DJ 36 fluted bezel jubilee
