F1 watch fans : where is Bremont ?

Hey guys, curious who’s an F1 fan here and let me know who you root for. But I’m curious why we no longer see Bremont as a sponsor for Williams Racing

Looks like they have a new partnership with Komatsu, a Japanese heavy machinery manufacturer.

Yeah I think they were with them in their heyday

F1 fan since the days of Aryton Senna. Yes, just noticed it to. I was about to go to Williams F1 site to look at partners..

Yep. Nowhere to be seen

Costs a lot to sponsor, my guess is they didn’t get the lift they thought they’d get.

Just saw that too, that is to bad. I wonder what happened?

Kinda sad. Oris left them as I’m sure you know a few years ago.

·

Love F1, just root for the Brits personally. Hamilton, Norris, Russell 👍

Soft spot for Williams though, used to love Mansell then Damon Hill back when I was a kid.

Guess we probably won’t even really know. Bremont won’t say anything

I remember that as well.

Racing advertising is famously filled with lots of fraudulent companies and shell corps that are conducting nefarious activities. Unless one is a household name, to the average viewer, they can’t be bothered to look up the good vs the bad.

·

Ferrari fan since I was a child. Schumacher and Irvine were teammates back then. 🏎️

One day we will understand the extend of the emotional damage this team puts me through every weekend…

That’s for sure. I have no clue what most of the names on the cars are these days

I’m a big F1 fan, and would love to see McLaren compete for the championship. I was not aware Bremont stopped sponsoring Williams. I thought the British watch/racing tie was important to them. I like Bremont and recently bought an S302. Their CEO recently indicated they were going to be targeting the $2k-$3k market going forward. They will be at Watches & Wonders this year with some new releases.

I’d love to have one of theirs. Love the Super Marines. I thinks it’s a great idea for them to go into the 2 to 3K market. They’d probably sell more watches.

As far as McL, really hoping to see Oscar progress. I think he’s the next super star

·
yankthemike

well they do still have Albon who is a Brit on the team, but yeah I get it.

With the way this off-season is going.....who knows?!? Maybe Bremont will show up on the back fin of that #44 "red car" lol

Yes. With Lando, Oscar, and the car they had at the end of the season, I think they have a chance to compete. I bought the LE Supermarine Ocean.

Damn. That’s handsome 🤩

E joy watching Max and Alonso

Yeah I'd love to see a lot more different brands than just Mille ...but we do have Tag with Red bull, and IWC with Merc.

Yip Max is often got on a Monaco, last year he swapped between these

I’m guessing he brings IWC with him

I’m not sure if they are a team sponsor or if Lewis took them to the team. Lewis took Tommy to the team to replace Hugo Boss

·

I am guilty on all charges. Following for 40 years. Team, ultimately Ferrari (parent immigrated from Italy). For a while, anyone but Merc, especially after the fifth straight constructors title. Now, just enjoy the sport, would love to see someone challenge Red Bull.

F1 is just so darn expensive for a smaller company.. JMO

Back in the day, Rothmans used to give these away:

I saved up all the tokens to get one once, but I'd already "bought" too many things from the Rothmans catalogue and they wouldn't let me have anything else.

@yankthemike - Bremont's new CEO says they have "too many stories," specifically pointing to Williams as one example:

What are you trying to inject into the brand?

Because the brand had grown in a very organic way, there were many different stories, collaborations and partnerships. I counted over 65 from Williams to Jaguar… It is very clever on one side, but there are too many stories running simultaneously. We need more focus.
