Chopard has had some showstoppers

However they haven’t seem to have actually “stopped the show”

That first watch might be the most interesting with its single hand on the black dial ala #meistersinger but the green and silver dials with the more conventional hand sets and the micro rotor movements might be more appealing

These L.U.C. Chopards might be the best looking high horology steel dress watches at 39mm out there

I still think the 1860 from last year at 37mm might be the most beautiful:

Any Chopard owners with some thought to share ?

Oh and I didn’t mention the single hand black dial is in white gold. So pardon that mistake!

Love that green dial!!

Love that green dial!!

I think that’s the most handsome one as well

Love sector dials

I also find the 1860 with the salmon dial released last year absolutely exquisite.

It’s truly spectacular.

The movements are stunning, and I agree the 1860 is gorgeous, but I don't love the other dials, not horrible, they just don't resonate with me the way the 1860 does. And of course they are out of my comfort zone in regards to price.

Yeah these are definitely out of my range. I only usually notice these things during the watch shows. But it’s kinda fun dreaming 💸💸💸

Yeah, me too. There aren't a lot of $20k+ watches that I even like, but the Chopard is one of them. I'm also really hooked on the Breguet 2057 with the new steel bracelet, but at $23k, that's a little steep for me.

I love these dials. They're a little less formal than the 1860, which I think puts them in a slightly different space. But the movements are as excellent as ever, technically and aesthetically. The jump hour is particularly cool, though the green one is a standout to me.

I already have a three handed L.U.C Chopard, and I've been eyeing the secondary market for a well-priced GMT One, so I can't really justify getting any other Chopard on top of that. But if I could, it would be the green one.

It's also worth acknowledging how classy these watches look compared to all the bluster and bling coming out from most other brands at Watches and Wonders. From Patek to JLC to Rolex. It's all about maximalist, chintzy watches, while Chopard is holding down the fort with really simple, done elegantly.

Well said Jakob! I’ve been thinking about them more and more as a brand. Definitely could see getting one second hand. That green one is spectacular and I’d stare at the movement constantly

Second hand is the way to go. They lose a lot of value right out of the gate, but the watches themselves are excellent! Mine with the 3.96 movement is easily my favourite dress watch.
