I got this Casio MTP-1244 many, many years ago. It was during a Christmas sale (if I’m not mistaken) and I got it for $7 plus taxes.
I stopped wearing it after buying a G-Shock, and it wasn’t until last week when I swapped the bracelet for a rubber strap and started wearing it again. God do I miss it.
The watch is comfortable; a thin profile + a flexible rubber strap makes it feel like a well-balanced bracelet, hugging your wrist so peacefully.
The simple white dial + silver bezel design is beautiful in my eyes. Giving it a hint of utilitarian-minimalism of some sort.
And I can’t help but notice a (slight) resemblance with Tag’s 2000 Professional line up - at least the quartz models.
Do you agree? What do you think about analog Casio’s?

absolutely love it 🤩⌚️
The Casio probably has a better movement in it too!
Does look like the TAG, which I love. I have a Carrera and a few Casios. They make great watches. The Duro is a real stud.
