I thought would play off a common photo trope found on this and other watch blogs, the "Watch Posed Behind the Wheel" snap. Here's my entry taken from a Reddit post last year. My challenge to Crunchies, submit your pairings and let us amuse ourselves with guessing the watch/car and make/model/year!
It would be awesome to look at some imaginative pairings that may appear here! ๐

64 Dodge Polara? Or based on your user name, perhaps a 76?
Ahh, yes Dodge, but what in the pic would confirm it? Google "Fratzog." ๐
Long love the Fratzog! Reminds me of my 1975 Dodge Royal Monaco (The Blues Brothers or Hill Street Blues car), but the steering wheelโs not exactly the same.
I know that dash from my parents 72 Dodge Dart Swinger with the brand-your-butt-in-the-sun decorative metal strips embedded in the black vinyl seats when I was a kid. ๐

Had '72 sedan with those green seats and the metal bars, which worked their way out eventually High 70's fashion, frog green.
I wanna see an F91-W and a Corolla. Someone, please humor me!๐

And my Momโs 75 Dart Swinger. Forgot about that car. Iโm sure itโs still dieseling somewhere!
I love that Timex! What is the story behind it?

eBay find, I wanted something electric, 70's vintage, pre-quartz and fairly cheap, and this caught my eye with its bright blue dial, domed acrylic crystal, and orange "rallye" sweep second hand, so I snagged it for $30. I looked it up and its a Timex from about 1973. Great expansion band, may or may not be original. it suddenly stopped after I opened the mailer, but I read that a tug on the mainspring may be needed to set it in motion, so I used a small link tool and poked it and its been ticking (loudly) for a few weeks now!

Awesome. It reminds me of a certain Omega Geneve modeI - blue dial, orange second - from the 70s too. I really love the case shape on yours - and the bracelet - and started looking for similar models on ebay. I haven't been able to find one with the blue dial and orange second hand but there are a couple with black and champagne dials that are in pretty good shape in the $35-45 range. I have a feeling your bracelet might be original based on the various ones I have seen on ebay and elsewhere. Thanks so much for the insight!
