This watch checks so many boxes for me- field watch, military, iconic design, 38mm. I've been in love with the Khaki Field watches for a few years and want to pick up some MILSPEC pieces in the future, but once I saw the black PVD coated case I knew I needed this one. To me, the black makes it look more rugged and more stealthy. I didn't like the NATO strap and swapped it for an Esprit Nato military green nylon strap with black buckle. I also got a desert tan nylon strap with a black buckle but the green just looks so dang good with the black.

Unless you swim daily, 50m WR is more than adequate.
Chances are, if you’re swimming, you probably shouldn’t be wearing a watch out of common sense.
I’ve gotten blasted with a fire hose at a fair with a 50m watch and it runs fine, but of course, be reasonable!
My logic is if 50m WR is so fragile, why would it even be made?
Here’s my Khaki Field Mechanical, such a great timepiece, I love the khaki strap on it

Looking good! That khaki strap matches the indices perfectly.

I agree with your points. Heck, I can't even swim so it's not an issue for me. But this is more of an irrational thing- I know logically that 50m WR should be more than enough for a field watch. But I just think that any MILSPEC watch should be at least 100m WR (even if the specifications only call for 50m WR).
Very nice. I tend to agree that 100m is optimal for every day. Otherwise great watch.
