Hello everyone. It's been a minute since my last post. Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth but life got busy.

Thank you, to those of you who checked in on me, I truly appreciate it. WC is an amazing place I missed you all. Ok, enough with the Kumbaya moment.

Here's the JLC Polaris looking particularly good today. I threw in a couple beach photos from yesterday just for nostalgia.

Be the best version of you you can be. Cheers!

Good to see you back here Craig. Life's like that and each of us have our own set of priorities, so no worries. The Polaris looking good as always and beautiful beach shots. Just curious, how long has that wreck been there? Isn't that a hazard to swimmers and surfers?

It was a oil cargo ship from the WW2. It docked there (there was a pier there), got beached and never left. They used to use it for events/partys in the 50's and 60's. Then it broke but it was still open to the public for recreation and fishing on the top deck only. In the late 80's or early 90's they closed the boat off but the pier was still open. Last year the pier was damaged in a storm and they tore the pier down instead of fixing it.

It's a landmark now. It doesn't seem to bother anyone and represent much risk.

And you've seen the present.

It will eventually sink into the ocean.

Thanks Craig for the detailed explanation 🙏. We don't have such wrecks here near public places. What existed before were towed to deeper seas to create artificial reefs.

That's smart! That would never happen here. We, the Monterey Bay is a national marine sanctuary.
