Peated, smoky Islay whisky matured in a sweet Sauternes cask bottled straight from the cask at 57.9% ABV.
This is not a whisky for the faint hearted and there is no better watch to pair it with than the rough, tough and divisive Tudor P01.

Men of culture, good to see you all here🍻
Real men don’t fear the P01, we embrace and love it.😆
It's a bit early for me as I'm still working, or I'd have joined you. That's a powerhouse of a Scotch, great choice
Took this a couple of days ago. Not tried it before, but nice sweet smoke flavour that compliments a "herbal cigarette" nicely.
Not heard of Kilchoman, I'll keep an eye out for it, sounds right up my alley.
Cheers 🥃
Was the Islay expensive just curious I’ve watched a couple of scotch whisky YouTube on islay history wonderful story there

Love the watch. Smokehead isn’t too bad either!
Kilchoman is a relatively young distillery on Islay. Their bottlings are pretty good. You can try their regular bottlings for a start - the Sanaig and Machir Bay.

This one was a little expensive cos it’s a special release that is single cask and bottled at cask strength (all the bottles came from one cask and was not mixed and diluted) and it was fully matured in a Sauternes wine cask (apparently more expensive to get), plus the shipping cost wasn’t cheap. 😆
The end product is superb, so made it all worth it!

Cheers my friend! Happy Friday!

I’m sure it’s worth it’s weight in gold, where I live the shipping & taxes to cross the border would be insane, oh well maybe some day I’ll get lucky & run into a generous tourist that’s willing to share a I forget what you call it,but I call it a stiff shot lol
I see a PO-1 I click 👌🏻. 🤙🏻
I’d be amazed if any Sauternes residual compounds make it past Islay’s rather robust traits.
There are 2 things in life people couldn't care less about, your dreams and your tasting notes 😉
Love a kilchoman, they make a cracking dram and use some awesome casks. I had a madiera Cask from them a couple of years ago and it was just incredible, sadly pretty impossible to get now unless it pops up in an auction.
Nice watch as well pal, fun to see a different Tudor from time to time!
Enjoy your 🥃
