I made a watch box

Hi

Made is a rather loose term, more like assembled. My DIY skills are so bad I am forbidden from most tasks, flat pack furniture also a no no, I am effectively banned from IKEA. When I see the skills displayed on WC with people who know what they are doing with boxes and straps and gubbins I am green with envy.

I got this wine gift at Xmas, the wine didn't last until Boxing Day but I kept the box. It only took me 5 months to figure out what to do with it. I am applying to MENSA soon. I bought some cushion thingies online and made a new watch box.

That's fantastic! So much nicer looking than the fake-leather covered ones which are my cheap go-to and are real dust magnets. My only suggestion would be to add some spacers in between the pillows to prevent the watches rolling and scratching one another when moving the box

Fair enough. I was thinking of some square pieces of card. Probably only necessary if you're moving it around. Not much risk of the watches scratching each other if it's staying in one place.

Yup agree some spacers would be needed to bring it to final level, otherwise great work

Bravo, great job with the thingies 👍👍

You're almost there bro. Add glass to the top and some dividers and it would look epic!
