Any quartz experts? I picked up this Pulsar V537-8B20 at a charity shop. It might be totally goosed, or it might just need a battery- but there's no battery already in it for me to get the type off. I've just wasted an hour on Google with no luck. Any ideas? There doesn't seem to be a battery type code on the case back.

Brilliant, thanks!
I’d honestly take it to a jeweler. If you end up putting the wrong battery in you will definitely break it.

SR927SW which is equivalent to 395
Thanks everyone!
Update: Good news - I had a 395 in the house! Bad news - it's goosed. The second hand is trying to move - you can see it sort of tick, but then go back again, so it doesn't move around.
So... should I just bin it, or I wonder if it would be worth getting a movement off ebay and having a go at fixing it, just for the lesson in fixing stuff?
Go for the lesson.
Thanks everyone!

Do it, the hardest part of changing the mech is setting the hands you will need magnification, hand setting pushers and I use a bit of rodico to hold em while I align em!
Have a go it’s surprisingly easy 👍🏻
