Mail order catalogues
Many years ago, "when I were a lad" etc, I used to excitedly pour over my mums mail order catalogue when it came through the door. Toys, "VIC20 or Spectrum", bikes, but also the watches. Features like backlight, water resistance, alarm etc. Obviously we can all do that online now, but anyone else remember those? My mums was a Marshall Ward, but there was Kays and Littlewoods in the UK - I'm sure similar in the US. Sometimes they had cheap own-label brands - "Zeon"?

70s UK Argos catalogues include Omegas at incredible prices.
I'd love one of those Seiko's at sub £50 today 🤣
