I think they are too big for me and, though not really my style, fantastic for what they are. What they are, for me, is the shibboleth of a tacky parvenu.
Most of them aren't my style, but much of the dislike comes from the fact it's fashionable to dislike them.
The Classic Fusion line is mostly good looking, and comes in enough sizes that pretty much anyone can find one to fit them.
Another way to look at them is this; If Hublot didn't make watches like that, maybe Rolex, Omega, or some other "cool" brand would. There is clearly a market for the look, so someone would be catering to it if Hublot disappeared.
Just listen to Nico Leonard on YouTube and you will know. He is a big Hublot "fan"
I dislike the look of them. I also dislike RM. Not my cup of tea. I liked that they use different materials.
The classic Hublots from the time I was able to afford medium luxury were quite nice but just beyond what I was willing to pay for them still the same issue today, I like them but also know they are not remotely near good value for their retail prices.
They make some really good watches, but I do not do well with misaligned screws, so that rules most out for me. They tend to be overpriced at retail, but many brands are, they happen to be a little more infamous for it. Ignore the blowhards on youtube and if you find you like them, cool.

I bought this Classic Fusion yesterday. I absolutely love it.
