Spring Drive Appreciation

After a month of almost daily wear, my 9R65 is only gaining an average of 0.3s/d. By far the most accurate watch in my collection.

How has your Spring Drive movement been performing? And if you haven't got one yet, what's stopping you?!

In twoish years of ownership, I can safely say that my spring drive has had more time lost or gained from my own human error than because of mechanical variation.

It might be my single favorite movement across all my watches in performance (though I own prettier ones).

I am waiting for an automatic spring drive, evolution 9, annual calendar + GMT in a Tiffany blue dial. And. I want the calendar to be able to move forward and backwards following the change in local time.

I have a Seiko LX SNR045 with the 5R65 movement. Aside from being less decorated it's identical to the Grand Seiko 9R65. It's been my usual daily watch for about a half a year now and it's been holding steady at roughly +2 seconds a month! Well within spec. I still marvel at the accuracy. The only watches I have that can do better are atomic quartz.

my sbga445 i wear for a month now. it is +4 seconds a month. spring drive 9r65 like yours. i am looking forward another GMT spring drive, as well as other watches. i read an interesting article, you own cars, but you also have motorbike and bicycle. GS style is almost all the same, other watches have different style, even it is not as accurate as spring drive.
