Going through my pics it made me reminisce of how much of a great time I had with the Namica Okami aka The Wolf and that made me wonder ๐ค๐ค With all the great micro brands out there, I wonder what are some of the WatchFams favourites. Let me know and let me know why.

Apparently Christopher Ward are still classed as a microbrand so theyโd get my vote. If not them Iโll say Echo/Neutra.

Mate I'm also shocked that CW is still considered a micro. I'd say they deserve the Independent classification at the very least. Also... I've only just recently discovered Echo/Neutra. That new GMT is incredible.

Definitely. Iโve got one of their Field Watches that come with a moonphase, but all their watches look great ๐. By the way whoโs your favourite?

Hahaha I was hoping the conversation would distract from the question being reflected to me lol Honestly I don't know but I really do love Vario and Namica.
So far Baltany.
Monta is looking good ATM ๐
So far Baltany.
Baltany is soooooo underrated. I got two of their pieces and they are both incredible.
Lorier
Elliot Brown
Helm
Nodus

I've never had experience with them but boy do they have some beautiful timepieces. I'd say I also view them as a bigger brand. They are so top class.
CW is not a microbrand. My favorite would have to be Farer.
Lorier
Elliot Brown
Helm
Nodus
Oooo Helm and Elliot Brown. Never heard of them. I gotta check em out. Any specific models to recommend checking? Lorier and Nodus are Giants in the game.

Farer is haunting me. I keep seeing them come up on IG. They are so gorgeous.

Helm, any lol. Vanuatu is prolly the best dollar per ounce at MSRP, ISO rated tool watch, currently available to my knowledge. $275US, but there's a wait-list..plus side the wait-list is numbered and you can slowly watch your number get to the top at any time.
Elliot Brown I'm partial to the Beachmaster and/or Holton Pro.
Beachmaster, cuz it's GMT AND mission countdown/count-up complication is extremely handy.
Holton Pro, mainly again because of value. Do not know of a special team or "unit" watch that comes in around the $500. And Elliot Brown did some EXTREME torture testing on off the shelf, production models. Up to and including dropping it off a bldg onto asphalt, dropping it to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, and blowing it up literally with plastic explosive. Watch still worked, bracelet got messed up tho...๐๐ค๐ป๐.

Holy smokes. This is insane. Dude you've recommended the styles that I love. I need to get on YouTube and fall inlove. I just need my wallet to catch up too lol
Farer,traska,lorier,smiths,kuoe,kurono tokyo
I'm having a love affair with Vaer at the moment. They had me at "solar".
O man. Never seen this brand either. You guys are dropping bangers. Thanks mate. That diver especially looks great.
I got a mate who's a big Spinnaker fan. I love all the textured dials they do. I need to try one at some stage.
They are fantastically well made, and the attention to little details is great on them
Love my trio of Loriers.
Perfect combo of fantastic build quality and robustness, beautiful vintage styling, and price point.
Halios. Any specific model?
I have the Universa.
Baltic

Man I love the look of the Neptune. Stunning brand.
I have the Universa.
Man that looks great. That crown is so good. Question though... Does that bezel turn? I see some grip on the edge.
Baltic
It's a sure favourite this one.

It's such a nice watch... and no, the bezel doesn't turn.

Im surprised more people haven't said Halios. I also love Halios

Ahhh I see. So clean.
Jack Mason followed closely by Armida. I have been very impressed with my Strat-o-timer and A1 45mm ETA blue dial, respectively.

Armida. Hasn't heard of them. Recommended models from Armida?

The Armida A1-45MM ETA with the double domed sapphire and the blue dial is the one I own (the blue dial appears to be out of stock atm but they have other colors available). Granted, their website is pretty marginal but they have a reputation for building high quality watches that are built to last.

Just had a look. That things built like a tank. My kind of watch. That bezel looks awesome too. Thanks mate.
