Which watch in John Mayer's collection is your personal favorite?
John Mayer has an insanely large, admittedly very high end watch collection. I know that I'll never be able to afford the same level of watches as he collects, but I really appreciate his genuine love for his collection. Which of his amazing watches is your favorite?

So women go to his concerts or something? Is that how he makes money? Or is it mostly that Hodinkee store? I'm not familiar with what he owns but the PP triple calendar is kind of nice, despite having some chronograph stuff cluttering it up.
I completely agree except I see these things as positives. I object much more strongly to the ugliness of the chronograph and the black dial.

I’m wondering if he wears his watches while playing? In the one picture he’s playing an acoustic. I’ve heard you should avoid wearing a mechanical watch while playing an electric guitar because of the magnetic fields.

I don't think the chronograph is ugly at all. It's widely considered one of the most beautiful watches ever made. Totally recognize that beauty is a subjective measure, but I don't think that there are many people who honestly think that the #patekphilippe 3970EJ is an ugly watch.

I've seen him in concert multiple times and he always wears one of his watches. He doesn't baby them or keep them in a safe. He wears them all the time. In fact, there's a line in his first video with #hodinkee when he talks about picking up dog poop while wearing a #patekphilippe
