Black or Blue Seamaster Diver 300?

I am literally torn… also they look a tad big on my 16.5cm wrist but I don’t mind at all.

That blue and gold Seamaster is AMAZING!!!  I wish I had the confidence to pull off a two-tone watch.  In my private fantasy life, I like to pretend that I can break out of my introvert shell and be as flamboyant and out-going as this:

Yes the blue does look absolutely amazing!

I only budgeted for and was ready to pull the trigger on the blue stainless steel version, then I saw this... https://www.instagram.com/p/B4AVQF4jMBW/

I was thinking if I only had one diver watch in my life, it might as well be the Seamaster blue and sedna gold! I went to the boutique and tried it on and was so pleased with it. Then... I saw the black version... 🤣.

I'm now carefully evaluating my literal life's choice!

Between the Sub and the blue SMP which one do you favour more? It's like having 2 kids you love them all but you always favour one over the other LOL.

·

Black

·

All metal I really like the blue one which actually I have, but with a mega gold I will go for the black one

·

Quite honestly the blue is a lot more eye catching and really nice to look at. The black sort a falls flat in my opinion and I get too many Rolex vibes (i actually don't really like Rolex). Both are really nice just your personal preference I suppose. If you want more subtle than go with black but if you want more pop than go with blue

·

With the rose gold colour the black works better for me. Also if its going to be a one and done kind of situation then the black is more versatile I think.

Whats the size on those?

They’re 42mm

With the gilt rather than silver accents I'd go with black as the more timeless option

·

Black. You’ll never go back.

·

I'm not fan of the two tone but if I have to choose one, I will go for the blue one.

·

I like the blue one 😍

·

I would go for the blue version as I like blue colour ! But the final decision is on you! Do you have more blue or black clothes, shoes, belts, etc.?

·

I prefer the standard blue over the standard black, but if I was going for two tone I'd take the black. It's a tad more understated while still very much a statement watch.

·

I’d go with the blue 🤌🏻

·

I would go with the blue, mainly because the black looks a little too close to a submariner.  Either way you can't lose. I have the silver dial with blue bezel and absolutely love it!  Good luck!!

I side this🙌🏼

How many black divers do you have? And how many blue? Decide based on that. Also, my favorite (modern) Seamaster is the  white one, also check out the Tokyo olympics limited edition, it has white dial and blue bezel and hands, really stunning piece!

This would be my 1st diver. Unfortunately the Tokyo version sold out where I live.

Then, I’d go with the blue! that would be my preference between the two!

Too easy - Blue!  looks gorgeous
IMH, black dial is cool only if whole watch is the full darth: black band and dlc case etc.  then that too is awesome

·

As all things with me, I went with the grey dial and frequently wish I had the black or white dial variant.  Sigh.  But the bonus of the grey is that it works with light or dark clothing nicely and the blue bezel and hands really pop.  Good luck!
