Got the Speedmaster Professionial, caved under pressure!
I've been building my collection and have found that I am drawn to Chronographs. An obvious choice is the speedmaster lineup from Omega. I always resisted the professional because I didn't find it too interesting in terms of design. But it felt like one of those watches I should have in my collection. Also, I opted for the sapphire sandwich because I want to see the movement!

Not a bad watch to cave to in my opinion.
Excellent choice..I had that version and when the new one came out I sold it and picked up the new one. I prefer the 'sandwich' versin as a watch but the bracelet on the new one is terrific. I added a safire see through back to mine . Enjoy the hobby..1st photo early version(came in a box the size of a suitcase LOL second photo is the new one and a pic of the safire back on it. Very comfortable watch to wear..

Yeah, I went back and forth on if I wanted to original one, or the new master chronometer certified one. I opted for the one I got and figured I'd also look to pick up a 321.
1863 caliber for me.
