My latest “bargain” was this citizen Promaster auto… it needs a new bezel as the original is bent. I actually managed to straighten the bezel, however the retaining spring is behind repair. Citizen doesn’t seem to sell parts, I’ve only found one website selling the part I need, one must purchase the entire bezel assembly. Lol.

You could get some piano wire(cca 0.5 mm) and try bending it into that shape yourself. It could save you a few bucks, just be careful to buy piano wire and not normal, soft wire.

That’s a good idea. I may try that. I wonder if a guitar b string would work also…
From Japan Horde #1, this beauty cost me £200 odd pounds plus shipping and duty.. a few days getting it cleaned up and now it's shining like a north star ⭐

A Grand Seiko quartz! You did a great job on it. It will be keeping (super) accurate time for years to come.

I'm guessing the parts site you tried was Esslinger.com but if not, give them a try.
$20. Budget budget friendly lol. Feels cheap but looks decent.
That will be a really good servant for you. Rugged case, good WR, day and date, and I'm guessing a friction bezel so you can time events. All for $20! That will barely buy 5 gallons of gas where I live.
I have always had interest in everything mechanical and since 2019 that has transferred to watches. Since then I have started collecting and tinkering with them. So yeah, I am a watch collector now :)

Got this for a steel, bit big though!
I am in love with fashion watches at the moment.
Above Emporio Armani was £30.
This one... a limited edition Timex x Worn & Wound WW75.
I have this one in my local pawn shop, don’t know wheater to buy it

That's a good price for it if you like the watch
That's a great deal! 😎
About 30 USD for this vintage Edox that I bought today.

£22 on Amazon prime day 👍🏻
It was a birthday present so I guess technically not a purchase. Kind of love it though.
And yes I forgot to align the bezel before taking the shot 🤦♂️

I like that. Sort of a land Turtle (tortoise?)

That's downright beautiful, and a great deal too.

I hope you like it. I've had my eye on one that's similar. I think there is a blue dial, greenish arabics version.

A present? That's the best deal there is. And good thing you included the disclaimer about the bezel, otherwise about 50 of us would have chimed in.
Got this one free from work.
I'll be at your HR Dept. first thing Monday.

I call that "wrist presence". Looks great on my screen - a big bold look.
Yes, great deal. Will look sharp when you get a bracelet, but also looks good on the black strap.

I tried every website I can think of, including Esslinger, none seem to have the bezel.
