What a great show! Watch spotting doesn't hurt 🧐

Actually, funny you say that. I couldn’t screen shot it because Amazon video sucks, but I was watching Get Rich or Die Trying earlier today. I wondered what watch 50 Cent’s character was wearing. It was a solid gold chronograph. Well there’s a scene in the movie where he’s choking somebody out and you can spot the watch perfectly. It was a solid yellow gold Daytona with what looked like a white dial. Perhaps it was also gold. I couldn’t tell. Either way, you saw the 3 sub dials and the 2 big, screw down pushers.

Still a fan of Tony’s Day Date on the Presidential bracelet.

Also, that show has the single worst ending in television history.

In the first episode he has a different but similar watch. Maybe a Tag.

Yeah? Idk I only watched it for the first time like 9 months ago. I wanted to watch it when it was out on TV but I was like 8 and my family wouldn’t let me lol. Understandably so 🤣 but that show pissed me off so much that I blocked it from my memory. 🤣

Nah, Game of Thrones was worse (IMHO)

No way lol. At least there was a little bit of closure with GOT.

Infuriating at the time.. but in retrospect.. a great choice. Each person can try to figure it out if he makes it out of that restaurant or not. Alot of clues point to no… chase has said that he lives though… but at this point he probably just likes to mess with people. Easily top 3 shows of all time. Also.. a lot of nice watches to look for in the series. Christopher rocks a lot of Cartier

Chase says he died, actually. But there are clues throughout the episode leading to the fact that he dies.

The ending isn't ambiguous at all, if you follow the rhythm of that final scene, it repeats itself: camera on Tony, wide. Bell rings at the door. Camera on Tony looking up, close up. Diner door *from Tony's point of view.*

The final, sudden black is the last point of view from Tony as he is shot by the man in the member's only jacket. It's not ambiguous, it's brilliant.

He was… but the end of his story line kinda sucked … he falls in love with Carmela and then just leaves.. that was kinda lame

Hey, that's my watch! I haven't seen another one in literally decades.

I got my first Zenith around the time this was new. I got a Port Royal that I wore in my wedding. I liked it so much that later I got a titanium square case Port Royal. In hindsight I wish I had got the Rainbow as my second Zenith. I've never seen one in the wild, but I've seen a couple in person at watch dealers.

I have the same Cartier Pasha Grille as Christopher, but mine is stainless steel not gold.

This is the watch that Tony gave to Carmela's cousin Brian who was their financial advisor. Brian told Tony about a way that HUD could be scammed out a lot of money theoretically. Tony went through with the scam and made a lot of money. This watch was Brian's reward for telling Tony about the scam.
