Kurono Tokyo: Calendrier Type 'I'

Just arrived by DHL, Hajime Asaoka, Calendrier Type 'I'. It's a beautiful watch! The other annual calendar I have is a Zenith El-primero Chronometer T. Now I have 4 Kuronos in my collection. Very excited to add this one.

The hands on Kurono had a legibility problem, that is I always had issue distinguishing between hour and minute hands. Now sure what changed on the Calendrier Type 'I", but the hands are super distinct. Love the Arabic numerals, the month and day dial. Everything is very well placed, and the dial is beautifully executed. The bezel is something very different from Kurono's other watches.

Forgot to mention, this watch was nominated for GPHG 2022, and, the 1st watch to be displayed during the award show yesterday.

Beautiful watch.

A real stunner. That watch made me sign up for their mailing list.

Awesome watch. Congratulations for such a fine timepiece.

For what it's worth, it's a simple triple date, but not an annual calendar. An annual calendar recognizes the lengths of particular months, much like a perpetual calendar, however it needs to be corrected in February, since it doesn't take leap years into account.

That is very unique!   I am upset I missed it when it was for sale. I understand why companies do that but it seems I am always late to know lol
