Horage Autark

Horage have to be one of my favorite relatively unknown Indie brands...

Has inhouse movement good style. A bit pricey

I've never handled one, but they look like they're doing some amazing things at a price point that most other Swiss brands aren't willing to touch.   Esthetically, I think they nailed the GMT, but I also like the one in your picture.  Have you handled any?  I'm curious about build quality and finishing.

what’s going on here? looks like the tens and ones have separate wheels for the date. Also, mainspring barrel is at the bottom and escapewheel at the 9. Interesting configuration I suppose🤔

I didn't really dig any of their designs until I saw the Horage Supersede. That is probably the only watch I would buy in their collection.

From my understanding, their main offering is swiss in-house movements that they will supply to others. I find this really interesting and can't wait to see how the future is for them.

Good questions. The wheels are separate it makes for quite a special calendar disk development that can create a truly big date.   The K1 movement that we developed is what we call a modular movement in that we have functions baked into the construction.  The Autark has all K1 functions showing however we can remove any of them such as we have done in our other watch projects.  Therefore the balance wheel is at 12 o'clock with barrel at 6 o'clock.

Very happy to hear you discovered Supersede.  We have something for everyone and each watch has its own character.  The movement development projects are really a lot of fun and we have our heads down working on the next big project.

Horage, thank you for getting back! I just watch a short clip showing the train side assembly and the k1 is really something else! Very impressed. Im curious about the pallet fork - it's one piece? And the pallet bridge is very cool ⭕

We just joined WatchCrunch yesterday so there is a little catch up to do 😅.  The pallet fork is made from silicon and is considered a solid single piece. Only the axle that it sits on is added to the fork.
