A perfect proportioned watch for me - the Tudor Black Bay 58

Nearly one year ago we (my wife and me) bought the Tudor Black Bay 58. It should be the first watch we wanted to wear both. We bought it to celebrate our relationship anniversary. My wife got fixed on that watch when she saw it on the saleswomans wrist at the AD nearby.

The plan was that my wife will wear it on the nato strap and I‘ll use the same or the OEM steel bracelet. Now nearly a year later, my wife worn it only twice on the Unclestrap Jubilee bracelet, when we celebrated our relationship anniversary and on our Italy vacation 🇮🇹🍕🍝.

Due to her tiny wrist she used to choose smaller watches because the BB58 wears quite (but in my opinion not too) big for her. Meanwhile I wore it about 40 times (according to the app Wristcheck) and it seems that the BB58 turns out to be one of my favorite watches of 2023. To me it has perfect proportions and with its classy design it can be combined with nearly every clothing style.

Do you also have watches you share with your partner? Does somebody use the app WristCheck? For me its a perfect app to track my watch collection 👍🏼.

My wife has a lovely 36mm OP that was bought for her but she doesn't wear it much and because of that it's never showing the correct time. So 99% of the time she'll wear one of my quartz watches. ATM she's wearing my yellow and black Casioak.

I’m not sure if this is sharing? My better half has been putting out the idea for quite awhile that we need a two tone Y/G Rolex DJ 36mm so she will get it for me on a special day. I also hear regular comments how this accessory and that of hers would go so well with the watch 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve been in this hobby for a while now, and I have a huge variety of different types of watches. My wife has zero interest in any of that hobby and would never wear anything but her smart watch. Just think of all the money I’m saving with her disinterest! 😉

My wife has no interest in watches or my collection. The BB58 always looks great in photos and I enjoy mine as well.

My wife is extremely nonchalant about her watches, even a little careless with her luxury items such as her massive stash of designer bags and runners, lately has taken to wearing some of my watches including my 44mm Pam Luminor Marina and a few Tudor BBs that are fitted with OEM fabric straps. My new Metas ceramic is my watch that I am allowed to wear only if she is not wearing it. She has slender wrists but pliable rubber and fabric straps allow her to wear quite a number of my watches comfortably.

Same! That’s the way I’ve been thinking about it as well. More budget for me 😁.

Love my BB58. Was my wedding watch and will be something that I’ll pass down in the future. Where did you find the jubilee bracelet for it?

You can find it on unclestraps, they have some steel bracelets for the BB58 👍🏼
