Schaumburg Watch Co in Germany …
There is a little known Watch company called Schaumburg located in Rintein Germany was created in 1998 . The company doesn’t do any marketing but makes small quantities of watches which range from watches to chronometers to divers . Having an attraction for limited edition unique QUALITY watches with a decorated movement I decided to order one directly . There are dealers in the USA but I found the price slightly less expensive shopping directly . The company makes quite a range of Watch with very unique one of a kind dials and cases . I was looking for a silver dial Watch so the Capella model with the handwind movement was exactly what I wanted . Once ordered it took about 2 weeks to arrive and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend the Watch brand if you are looking for something handmade unique and well made from a small shop at a VERY reasonable price .

Well you can google Schaumburg English version and you find it easier . The models run from low 900 euro to over 3000 euro and more depending on what you order . My watch was only a little over 1300 shipped I think quite a bargain for a German handmade Watch with an in house decorated movement sw.07.1 . Of course my watch is a base model they have other very unique dials and movements check the website English version . You may need to switch browsers if you are having a cookies issue .

I have a question about your watch. It appears that they use their own movement in their watch and they call it the SW-07.1. I searched on the net and it is rated at 18,000 bph which is 2.5 hz.
How does the second hand moves on your watch ? Is the rotation of the second hand smooth ?
I have also noticed that many of their watch do not have a second hand.

Happy to find this thread! I love the online pictures of their watches, but was wondering if they held up in person. I wish someone like Andrew Morgan would do a review, I've found it difficult to find out what methods and techniques are used to make the watches.
For instance, some of their guilloche style dials, how are they made? Are they stamped?
