Thoughts on Nomos

People claim that they don't look like a Timex in person. I'm skeptical, as some people claim that Rolex watches are super awesome in person as well. I'm not easily impressed by movements, so these look like nice $500 watches to me.

I’m not into Bauhaus.

Who are these people? Let’s round them up

I bought an Orion on my first bonus as a reward to myself.

I got many compliments and it made me beem... Then I found it was because it looked like a Daniel Wellington. I quickly learned that day my watch ego is very fragile.

Apart from that I will say their movements, especially how thin they are, top notch for the doller you spend.

I’ve seen them in person and didn’t think they looked like Timex. But then I’m not impressed by Timex, but am easily impressed by movements, so there’s that 🤣

Great watches. Don’t have one but have checked them out at a nearby AD. My two biggest critiques: long lugs…and price. While not expensive for what they are…what they are ain’t cheap!

Not a fan of Bauhaus or California dials.

Most models are overpriced.

I have this very Nomos Club and I love it.

In looks, and the way it wears, it reminds me of a modern interpretation of my 1950’s Smiths A404:

The Lux collection is something special. Can't afford it but that would be the Nomos I want

Need an option for “lugs are too long”
