Nice review. I’m not so bothered re the fixed bars, a nato strap looks great on a field watch IMO. Curious to hear your thoughts on the similar looking Boderry? I just got a Voyager and it’s a titanium cased, sapphire glass, automatic field watch for £60. And the bars aren’t fixed. I can’t believe how good the value is. Some people have complained re the second hand “stuttering” - I don’t have that issue but obviously QC isn’t the best. With these kinds of low end watches, I know some say we get what we pay for, but I really do think (QC aside) we get a bit more…just watch the price go up as it already has with Bertucci…
I tend to buy outright, and I keep a spreadsheet of all my watches, purchase dates and values up to date so I can always face the sobering truth that my deposit for an apartment is tied up in horology 🙃
