Cool “Wrist” Luke
Paul Newman needs no introduction to the watch world. This is a shrine of sorts on one side of my office. I couldn’t find a picture like this with him actually wearing the Daytona, but this will suffice. Can anyone tell I’m into midcentury modern?

I'm not sure if he had Rolexes when he was as young as your picture. I think maybe his Rolex collecting thing was later in life. I could be wrong.

Paul Newman and my dad were friends before Newman went to Hollywood. They were involved with community theatre near Cleveland Ohio. My dad told the story of Newman getting drunk and sleeping on our couch during his divorce from his first wife...I would have been a toddler then but I don't remember Newman wearing a watch...
