Hidden Gem? VHP GMT 41mm

Ultra high precision, GMT, Perpetual calendar, heritage...

I think this watch is an absolute steal, but seems to have flown under the radar. Show me a better watch for under 1k!?

I love this one and it would be on my list to save for if it wasn't for the lug-to-lug, 50mm is just too big for me

·

Longines have withdrawn the VHP now haven't they? Could just tie in with the new conquest model but I read somewhere they were getting out of quartz. Would be a shame as VHP was one of the most advanced movements out there for the reasons you state

·

Totally agree with you. I’ve often wondered why this watch doesn’t get more press and praise too.

·

Looks handsome too 😍👍🏻

·

Yip I like this also, love the flash update feature, very innovative to use the phone light to set the time. For those unfamiliar with this model the ‘1’ at the 12 marker has a sensor that is used to set time from an app on your phone. Highly accurate and up there with GS in accuracy.

Did not know that. Wow!

Loving longines at the moment, proving here big can be beautiful 👌🏻

Yep, Longines killed VHP 🥲

The white dial is my pick out of the bunch. Gorgeous!

·

I have the exact same watch but with the blue dial. An amazing quartz high precision watch with some modern tech touches.

·

High accuracy quartz watches are largely overlooked in general. It is a shame as they are really good. Nothing like picking up a watch after about 6 months and not only is it still running but it is off by like +- 1 sec.

And the perpetual calendar on this one too... amazing tech & value!

What hurts this one the most is the 43/41 mm diameter. That is a lot of dial. I think they would have sold a boatload more at 39-40.

·

The 43mm version is currently £560 in Goldsmiths in the UK. That’s a hell of a good price, but 43mm eek! 😧

41mm is the sweet spot on this one👌

Absolutely

Gorgeous dial! This one has definitely flown under my radar. Now I have to add it to my ever expanding another-watch-I-want-list.

·

I personally prefer the conquest better but I like this one on your wrist

·

If they did this in the 39, I probably would have gotten one. Too big for me as is.

·

GREAT looking watch...but just too big for me.

·

Love it!!
