i accidently bought the 36mm version of this tissot sea star quartz. I feel like it’s too small as i usually have 40mm watches and everyone is telling me it’s too small. What do you guys think?

Looks ok to me. 👌
Looks fine
Me, every time someone asks if a watch is too small:
Yes it is smaller but if you like wearing smaller watches, then it works completely fine.
Or if you feel the larger size would suit better personally, return the watch and get the 40mm. Plus you said that you bought it accidentally so you answered it yourself that it was not your first choice.
While ordering Tissot, look up the reference number for the model properly from their website cause the photos used by Tissot look similar for both sizes and can be very confusing.
That's what she said!!😉
Looks fine…moving on
That's what she said!!😉
You beat me to it
Me, every time someone asks if a watch is too small:
Legend…wait for it…dary…LEGENDARY
Looks good!
Looks to be a perfect size
It looks fine.
Nah, you good. Depending on what you wear for I work, might skip under cuffs easier, and still have a sportier vibe.
If it bothers you return it.
Also this:
It’s perfect
Looks gorgeous, I would have gotten one too if it were an Automatic !
If you feel like it's too small, it's too small. You could pull it off if you wanted to. There was a time when 36mm was the standard for men's watches. But today.... not that my opinion matters, but if that were my watch, and my wrist, I would think it was a bit small. Do-able, but small.
Thing is, if you wear that Tissot every day for a week and then go back to one of your 40mm watches, all your 40mm watches will feel too big.
Way way way too small. I have never seen anything looking this stupid (and small). Had I not looked at your post on my 24" screen I'm not sure I would have been able to even see it.
anyways.....looks fine for a little girls watch
No seriously. Looks fine (if you like them really really small).
I'll let my self out.
