Reference is "H705450" and it is rather old.

If you are referring to the circle around the minute track, I think it is only the optical illusion of the added hardened glass protectors that I put on all my flat faced watches, no matter the material of the glass. Plastic, mineral or sapphire.
Take is as an added protection and an extra barrier to save the original glass from a possible hard and concentrated blow.
