for me, bang for the buck watch brands are definitely the mid-tier ones you have mentioned from the Swatch group:
Longines, Hamilton, Tissot
but also the mid-tier ones from richemont:
Montblanc, Baume & Mercier
LVMH:
Tag Heuer
They are all reasonably priced and have excellent in house movements and designs with great history, allowing many salary men and women to access horology without breaking our banks!
i see watches as accessories. So depending on what I wear and also everytime i change straps on my watches I feel like I have sent them for plastic surgery and come back another person for me to have good clean fun 🤣
After wearing a couple of watches you will figure out some sweet sizes for you. For me it’s 36-39mm, depending on the design and lugs etc, and my experience with the brand. If I’m going beyond my threshold level then I wld have to try it.
