2023 balance
2023 was my first year in this watch collection madness. And it ended up way beyond I imagined. I confess I always loved watches, but for some reasons did’t wear them.
After I unexpectly won a grammy award as a recording engineer last february, I decided I should gift myself with a watch, and I got an ice blue powermatic prx. Lovely watch, after I got some rubber straps I started to enjoy even more. When the actual stattuete arrived, I was so happy that I got another one, this time a Pelagos LXD. This one I must say it’s a stunner, what a joy to wear! As I got it trough an AD, I could’t resist and had my name put on the list for a 40mm Explorer. By then I was told that it would take around 2 years to get the watch. I thought, even better, got more time to save up some cash. A month later got a casioak as a beater, no big deal, and wear it a lot. To my surprise, on december 21st, my AD called me on the Explorer, and altough wasn’t in my plans to get it so soon, could not just ignore it. So, here I am, with those four amazing watches, very happy indeed.
Let’s see what 2024 brings.

Awesome collection. It ended almost as soon as it began. You’ve got arguably one of the best GADA watches, one of the best dive watches, and a chronograph (I assume the Casio has a chronograph function). The PRX is just the cherry on top. I think you’re done.

Congrats, and nice collection. But please remember that watches are like natural gases, in that they expand to fill their environment. I see six open spaces in that watch box, won’t be long until zero open spaces!
