Zelos Spearfish Burnt Orange
The latest watch in my collection is this beautiful Zelos Spearfish with the burnt orange dial. I know that this is likely a love it or hate it watch, but there's something about this dial that I absolutely love. When this model was originally launched, I contemplated buying it but decided against it, thinking I'd likely never really wear it. Every time I've seen a photo of this variant since then, I've been filled with regret, so when I noticed that Zelos had some units back in stock, I decided to grab one, and am extremely glad I did.
This is now my third Zelos, and definitely the best of the bunch. The fit and finishing is much improved, to the point where I can easily see this watch becoming part of my regular rotation as long as the LaJoux-Perret LJP G100 movement ends up keeping decent time.

I have two other Zelos watches - a bronze Swordfish and a teal dial Horizons GMT. Neither of them get much regular wrist time, largely due to the fact that the quality (while good for the price) isn't quite up to my normal standards. Even though they don't get much wrist time, I feel they are both nice looking watches (especially the teal dial Horizons GMT). That's one of the reasons that I had originally passed on the Spearfish when they were released - I expected it to be just another example of a nice dial in a watch that I wouldn't really wear. When they added more to stock, I decided that I liked the dial enough to take the chance, and am very pleasantly surprised at how nice it feels. If it keeps decent time, it will likely become part of my regular rotation.
