How Do You Power Your Solar Watches?

Fellow Crunchers! So, for those of you who have solar powered watches, how do you give them what they need to stay charged and running properly? Here's 2 of my ways that I charge my Eco-Drive and other solar watches. I also wear them when it's nice and sunny in Florida.

Have at it in the comments on ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I wear mine around outside with my sleeve up, or I set them in the sun for a couple of hours once a week or so. Iโ€™ve only had mine since January of this year, so not much experience with them. Iโ€™m interested in what everyone else does!

Was just thinking about this. My g shock has been running low due to not being worn during the winter here in Maryland.

my two solar power watches are always kept near the window, by the way that Blue Angels with that NATO looks very good

I mainly charge mine while wearing or put them in the window. I do have a led lamp over my watch box that all of my solar watches are in.

Keep them in a glass top watch box and in a room that gets natural light and your fine. Wear them every now and then your fine. Don't get caught up in all the urban hear say. Lite chargers and the rest is all marketing crap for you to consume their products.

On a sunny day every few months I put mine outside on the patio in the morning and pick them up before sunset. That easy

ยท

I always have all my blinds closed, so I set them behind the blinds of my sliding glass door for a day or two every few months.

ยท

I put my box with solar watches in the window 3-4 times per year on a sunny day.

Any light charges. Mine are fine in the clear top watch box, wearing at work or outside. Never runs out.

In the Winter months, I do. put mine in the window. Warmer months I just wear it, it gets the needed light then.

Every couple of weeks I sit them on a windowsill for the day.

ยท

I used to put mine next to the window all day every SUNday but figured maybe it's too much sun exposure so i have cut back to one SUNday a month plus the charge it would get when i use them on rotation (1-2 days per month as well). I am no expert since i am about 7 months into solar quartz ownership. I'm even concerned if it is too hot for them at the windowsill? They do get warm when charging.

ยท

I sit them out in the sun every few months and they seem to be doing alright.
