Great comment about perception being everything! I love the Everest and picked up the black and white dials and the Commando variant as well. Fantastic value and really evokes that 50s, 60s vintage vibe.

If you want real milspec with the history to back it up, you cannot beat the CWC SBS. It’s still current issue to the SBS.

I picked one up last year and couldn’t be happier. Solid build quality and finishing plus it wears like a dream for a 300 meter diver.Throw it on one of CWC’s single pass ribbed straps or an NDC parachute elastic strap and it just disappears.
