What does your current wish list look like?

What do you have your eye on to add to your collection? I have not bought any watches for quite some time, last one was the Neotype nearly 2 years ago. A change in circumstances and moving twice sort of knocked my excitement of watches a bit.

In the last 6 months or so, we are starting to see some interesting and exciting stuff being released from a mix of brands. Longines and Nodus spring to mind.

This has rekindled my love of watches and got me thinking about what could be next in my collection. And whilst the pics attached are not from the brands mentioned, my interest in adding something new is growing again.

I have a bit of a mix in my wish list. I am a big Bell & Ross fan and having tried on the Gyrocompass, it's a fantastic watch.

I think Glycine is one of the best and most underrated brands in terms of value, quality and choice. The SST has long been on my list, a vintage one of course and an Airman would complete my collection nicely. I have 2 Glycine now.

But, the U Boat Darkmoon is the one that's top of the list. Although a quartz and about £1k, I genuinely think it is something different. Swiss quartz and Italian style and build makes for something quite special so hopefully, towards the end of the year, all being well, I can get one.

What is on your wish and why? Is the wish stable or constantly changing for you? Are there watches that you keep returning to?

Your post reminded me to buy watches I’m deeply passionate about and like regardlesss if they are perfect or check all the boxes.

Thank you.

Now I have to sort my list. A Breitling Duoraph is on my list, some IWCs, an Hour Vision or Globemaster Annual Calendar, a Chopard LUC microrotor, Ochs und Juinor, and maybe a GS.

I dig that color on the U Boat! 👌🏻

I'm awaiting the Momentum (son of founder of Chronosport) UDT reissue.

Also the Sangin EOD Special Project. Jacob, the owner of Sangin, has released hints that SW300-1's are on the table, along with some faraday anti-mag cages, so trying to hold off any other big purchases until there is a price estimate.

Still on the waiting list for a LHD Helm Khuraburi too 😂.

I can definitely vouch for the U-Boat. There’s not much else like it on the market and definitely makes a statement. Plenty of people don’t like the bubble but I love it. I had an issue with the contact for the battery and had to send mine back to ital but they picked up all the costs and fixed it without hesitation. U-Boat customer service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have a Glycine Airman already so a Bell & Ross will be one of my next watches.

Thanks for the real life input. The U Boat is firmly staying at the top of the list. Good to hear they got excellent CS as well. Thanks for the pic. The ceramic cases on B&R are sublime, if you have not tried one on yet, go do so! Oh, and prepare your credit card.....
