What should I call it
Hey watch enthusiast. Just finaished my latest seiko mod…what can I say, I love being creative. I saw the unique hands and wanted to create something. Well I’m stuck on naming it….thoughts?

"The Mandala"
A mandala is a geometric configuration of symbols. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation and trance induction (from Wikipedia).
It took me a moment to see the hands and figure out how they worked. But now I see them, that is an awesome looking watch 👍
How do you read it? Are the orange triangles the hand? The Octagonal?

How do you read it? Are the orange triangles the hand? The Octagonal?
Yes, you read by following the orange hands. Because the way most hands have hour on bottom and minutes in the middle. That means long hand is hour and short hand is minutes. These hands would not be ideal to calculate seconds. It’s just a spinning wheel with no reference point. Very much a conversation watch. Keeps good time.
Nah, that’s my whole modding. Being that I’m forty I call a mod life crisis.
