Finally...
For some reason I have been lusting after a Doxa Sub 300 professional for years, but never pulled the trigger. There was always something else I was saving for, or an unexpected expense that kept me from picking one up. This one popped up the other day on a forum at such as good deal that I couldn't pass it up. I don't know if it will be in my collection forever, but I certainly could see that happening. This will be a pretty long honeymoon, and I cant wait for my up coming beach trip and seeing this thing in its natural habitat.

Last night, when I unpacked the watch was the first time I ever saw a Doxa in person. It was like a really expensive blind date.

Congratulations on the new watch. The orange 300 is the original, so you can’t go wrong there. I went with the 600 only because I liked the angular look, but I must admit that 600 doesn’t scream Doxa. 😀

I wanted my first doxa to be the doxiest one. Now that I have it, I kinda want an aqualung searambler.
I’ve always loved these, but it wouldn’t be prudent for someone who can barely swim haha . . . A fact made more horrifying since I grew up in Hawaii 😂

Hi Crazy Mallwalker, start saving up. Even a dollar 💵 a day gets you there. It ain’t a Rolex Daytona, which is unattainable for almost all of us. I did this with my favourite chair (Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge), I saw it and was struck by lightning ⚡️. I had to have it, but still an art student with no car or anything, a far fetched dream. But… start saving up. A lot of happy searching and luck 🍀
