Help me choose my next watch ๐Ÿค Thank you

Hi,

Im looking for new everyday watch. Im thinking about Longines Spirit (REF. L3.410.4.63.6) or maybe black bay 36 (little bit expensive on me to be honest), or maybe seiko Alpinist (SPB355J1). Usually when the watch is too expensive I dont wear them too much, since I want them in good condition.

Dont know yet what I want, do you have any suggestion or alternatives ? Im not a watch snob, I want something I wear anytime and it dont brake my bank account, but it also have nice finishing and it is reliable.

Thank you all in advance.

My piece of advice is, when you don't know what you want, don't buy anything at all until you find one that makes you say "I need this watch"

Alpinist is great but if you get one watch out for alignment and the general accuracy of the movement, they can be variable, I know !

If you want a silver dialed everyday watch Iโ€™d recommend the Tusenรถ Windseeker.

It has a very wearable size at 39mm diameter, 47 lug to lug and 10.5mm thick.

It has a reliable SW200-1 automatic movement

and is the competitively priced especially compared to the Longines and Tudor.

Finishing is very nice and the dial has a nice design giving it a 3d feeling. They are a Swedish microbrand so not sure how that will work for you but I really like it.

That Alpinist is a winner for sure๐Ÿ˜‰

I've got the green Alpinist in my 12 watch collection and I had to put it back in it's box for a while because it was the only watch I would reach for. I don't really like green or gold, but somehow this watch is eyecandy to me. Plus, it is so comfy on my wrist, Seiko really works some magic into their cases.

Anyway, I'd say do some research first, try different watches first, don't rush it as this is part of the whole experience.

Buy what you like. I have that exact alpinist I received from an EU AD. It is a beautiful watch, but the straps are very long, so be prepared to order a replacement if you do not have a large wrist. Also, because the bezel rotates, you should never have an alignment issue, but like most Seiko with that movement, do not expect it to be chronometer spec. Hit the WRUW section and take note of what you like. Go into stores try on things, you will figure out what you like. Otherwise, expect a lot of variety in the responses.

If nothing is screaming โ€œmust have!โ€, maybe you wait a few months and wait for new releases. Or if you have a grail watch in mind save up for that.
