SOTC

Here we are, a few years in. Top watch is obviously my Tudor, all the others are mostly sub $500. I think I really prefer dive watches but I guess I've got 3 main categories at play; dress, dive and chronographs. I'm not a mechanical snob but I do enjoy the feeling of the intricacies at work on my wrist, still, a nice quartz is not to be sneezed at either, especially for mucking around. It's funny, I don't crave a Rolex but would like an Omega at some point, a nice IWC, Longines, something even more out of the norm, I think that's me, a little different. At some point I'll jettison that cheap smart watch from the cased collection too. There is a Momentum Sea Quartz on its way, along with a Hawaiian shirt, an homage to my Mangum PI watching days and an old buddy calling me Thomas Magnum. Had to buy it and the shirt. The vintage JLC (1951) was grampy's, the old Seiko (1990) dad's, the old Citizen (1985?) my mom gave me when I was a little pup and the wooden one from my GF, with our family motto, Carborundum non Bastardo engraved on the caseback. The Arnie, well, he's one of my all time heros. Watches mean something, I think you should own/buy watches that mean something to you, besides wealth. Need to pay for some house renos, so might ease up for a bit. Did I mention I love Watchcrunch?

Ya, I love the devil diver!

Really nice collection. I like that you have collections inside the collection. That's very impressive. I'm liking the Baltic on the blue strap with the off center small second hand. Wear them with a smile. Congrats!

What's your take on the Maen Manhattan? It's on my short-list.

It's beautiful, it's also not substantial, thought it would feel more so, maybe my only regret with respect to it. I got it because I wanted something very sophisticated looking and it fits the bill, love the look of the dial especially. The new ones have a slightly better movement I believe, but I'm not an expert on those things. Honestly looking forward to a fine dining out to wear it, or a wedding, etc.

Nice collection, good to see a smart/fitness watch in the last box. I think they deserve their place in a collection as well.
