It was just asleep. I would assume the solar variant uses the same module as the non-solar versions and if you don't touch it for a bit (like a day or so) it goes to sleep to conserve battery.
The G-Shock I have is set by the atomic clock. Same with the Citizen. The Casio Ediface in the second row is Bluetooth. There are Bluetooth G-Shocks though that do the same as the Ediface. I also have an Alpina that can do the same thing, though not solar so not in this watch box.
Just got them back from service. Looking forward to getting them in my wrist now that they are all working properly.
