After stating on a few posts that I'm not interested in digital watches I find myself looking at Casios, especially the ones that have been modified. Why???!!! I may have to go back on my word! Explain this to me please!
Didn’t you watch the video in health class? You’re growing and changing. You used to be hairless and think digital watches were gross. Now you stink after a workout and get funny feelings when you see an F-91W. It’s all normal and natural, and we’re very proud of you.
Seriously: Tastes evolve. Some get further into the hobby and get more narrowly focused on a particular area of interest, and some find their scope widening. The latter happened to me too. Never understood the digital thing, then one day saw that $19.99 Casio Royale. Adore it. You didn’t take a blood oath not to ever like digitals, so let your new flag fly!
I wasn't interested at all in casio or digital watches for the first 5 years or so of wearing a watch everyday. But now that's basically all I wear. I never have to worry about my g-shock.. and I love how they look and feel. Give in to these urges!
I have also recently got into G Shocks, most of the time I still wear my Omega's to the office but the rest of the time I grab one of the G shocks. What appeals is the fact they are accurate and you don't have to worry about them, plus they're not expensive unless you look at Titanium like the MRG versions which I like but couldn't justify for a Casio despite the work that goes into them.
This is indeed a mystery even for me. I was skeptical about digital watches until recently when I saw a g-shock mario limited edition here on WC, so I thought I'd see what their price is, google found a lot of g-shocks and the dilemma began, from the mario edition I ended up researching g- shock chameleon and I was confused because I don't know if I should get another Seiko watch or build another one as I did in past or just get one of the g-shocks but it will probably be best if I cool down before I make any purchase 😀
