When the Apple Watch came out in 2015, I was one of the first people on my college campus to get one. As the years went on, I slowly stopped wearing it, as I found the constant notifications unnecessary. Now, I only wear it to the gym to track my workouts.
I found myself missing wearing a watch every day, but I had no desire to wear my Apple Watch. I wanted something unique, something to accessorize, something to make me feel good.
Enter my newest hobby and obsession - watch collecting.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Seiko Prospex Diver SPB143
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
It’s normal for tastes to change - don’t be upset if you lose interest in your “favorite watch” down the road. If it doesn’t bring you happiness anymore, sell it and move on to the next.
