Tell me about your favorite Armitron

I watched the little 6-minute history video on Youtube and I admit it's inspired some interest. So, if you have a favorite Armitron, tell me about it. Please?

In the future, when I've somehow lost enough watches to warrant getting another one, I'm going for this, what Amazon calls Armitron Sport Unisex Easy to Read Silicone Strap Watch, 25/6443

Bezel, Indiglo knockoff, navy blue resin, 36mm. What more could one want?

It's a pretty little watch. I just ordered an Armitron Griffy https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B23CJX5Z because it's got a retro look and it's shiny.

This must've gotten buried for not having an image in the start post. Surely @DigitalDivider and @DariusII would have posted by now.

Might have got a bit buried because I'm new too ;)
I might try again when my new Armitron Griffy arrives and I can post an on-wrist photo of it ;)

Agreed. Because why wouldn’t I want to show off my incomparable golden Rubik?

And my own teddy bear-wearing Griffy?

Those are all very pretty :) I like the look of the buttons on that calculator watch. How's typing out calculations feel on it?

It is very similar to my Casio DBC32, which is the larger Casio calculator watch compared to the CA53W. It is much easier to use than the CA53W, at least for my sausage fingers. 🤣

I can see that being a big bonus. My fingers are a bit big for my CA53W

Muchas gracias!

I'll be getting the Griffy soon.

·

I would like to own one, unfortunately they are not available that easily here in Europe. Would definitely love to have either the Steel Rubik or the Steel Griffy with red LED.

I got mine on Amazon but I don't know what the situation is for that over there

On Amazon.de are almost 75$ and 80$ respectively, so no at all cheap. Been looking on Amazon.com and that's the best option, both are approximately 50$ including shipping and taxes.

Woo... That's a bit of a stretch. Maybe you can find a Watchcrunch traveler buddy who is coming to your area and they can bring it with?

Unfortunately it's not easy to find people in the south part of Spain, especially in a somewhat rural area. I would have to bite the bullet and go for the Amazon.com
