I am thinking about adding a new watch to my collection, i right now own a ga2100 and a digital casio. I was thinking between the seiko or the orient they are both great watches and are both automatic the orient has saphire and the seiko has hardlex, i was leaning towards the orient because i love seeing the watch movement inside but the seiko is just really clean.

Go with the Seiko, best budget GADA…maybe best watch for $200
Seiko, but then I can't get along with open hearts
I would go with the Seiko & get another strap or bracelet. It is a strap monster.
I tried on the SRPE recently when on sale locally and found the included bracelet was.... Not good. It's a common criticism in most SRPE reviews.
I’d go with the Seiko since I’m not a fan of open heart watches. Plus, you can mod it and really make it your own (adding a sapphire crystal, fluted bezel, and a jubilee bracelet)!
Despite owning (non-open heart) Orient, my vote goes out to Seiko because it honestly seems like better all-round choice from the two. Plus, not like Bambino V1 (2 or 3 or 4) is not really going anywhere anytime soon if you ever decide to add the other one to your collection :)
I like the open heart, but dislike the Roman numerals.
Seiko any day, every day for me. Also not a fan of “open heart”…happy hunting! ❤️🤙
