I preordered a Marby and it should be arriving sometime next week. The owner, Stephen, is super nice and responsive. I got to look at some of their watches at WindUp earlier this year. The value for what they are offering is crazy. Regulated Swiss movement (+/-8 sec per day) at a price you usually see for a microbrand offering a Miyota movement. I am looking forward to it!

I traded a few messages w/ him, and seems like a really nice guy. Wouldnt mind making a trip over to Austin to get some BBQ and do some watch gazing when im ready for my next buy!

Good luck w/ the Marby! What dial did you order?
I got the field white. I like that it is titanium and will be only 48 g! Thank you! I think the trip to Austin will be worth the good food and watches for sure. 🍻
Great microbrand…my watch crew purchased one for me last year. Really pleased with it and, of course, it’s special since it was a gift.
Every year I give my buddies watches from my collection as a holiday gift or a cool microbrand that I come across. Last year it was the RZE Valor field watch. This year it’s the Vaymont dive watch.
They surprised me last year by chipping in together to get me the Dufrane…I couldn’t have been more pleased.
Now I’m tempted by this. It’s the texture of the linen that noticeable most of the time? I have another watch with a linen-like face, but the texture isn’t usually that noticeable in most lighting conditions which has been a bit of a disappointment.
